Catherine Marchand: December 2011 Featured Artist

Catherine Marchand has created a wide range of fine art reproduction products with PageMaster. Her work is now available in stretched canvas (‘gallery wrapped’) reproductions, high quality giclee and laser prints as well as art cards.

You can currently view Catherine’s work at The Daffodil Gallery, located at 10412  124th Street. Catherine has been able to promote and sell her work at events like last month’s Night of Artists in Edmonton. In January, she will be showing her work at the Metropolis Winter Festival at Churchill Square.

Reproducing Catherine’s work is a joy, as her vivid colors and skill shine through every piece. Her artists bio says it all,

“No other subject captures my attention as much as the human face. Although it can be challenging, my work is most rewarding when I have the joy of rendering the essence of my subject in oil on canvas. I like to use bold colors and a strong source of light giving my ‘Romantic Realism’ style of painting a life of its own. My hope is that others will sense the joy and the spirit behind my work.”
