Our small batch model reduces your risk, storage requirements and cash outlay with better quality, costs and control than one-off processes. Our promise is to produce an additional 100 books in six business days after your first run.
As well as books, PageMaster produces cards, newsletters, reports, booklets and art prints.
Printing
Color
Two production level digital colour printers handle up to 13”x19.2” (Ricoh CP720, Konica/Minolta CPP500). They produce excellent color and efficient black for mixed books. The Ricoh had excellent registration and lower temperatures result in less curl. The bottom line is great product.
B &W
In May 2012 PageMaster installed a new Ricoh 900 black printer with 13″x19″ capacity meeting the increasing need for efficient 6×9 books. Printing quality, registration, speed and paper handling have increased resulting in even better books, in other sizes too.
Better, faster, cheaper is good.
Archival 44″ color
Canvas and paper in high fidelity 12 color for art reproduction and photography are the focus of wide-format printing at PageMaster (HP Z3100ps).
Binding
Perfect binding, coil binding, saddle stitching and shrink wrapping are finishing services available in-house for your publication. Small quantities are both high quality and affordable with our Horizon BQ 140 perfect binder. Our bindery also includes a Sprint 5000 booklet maker for efficient saddle stitched magazines and booklets.
Perfect Binding
Paperback books are produced in-house on our Standard Horizon BQ-260. It produces excellent quality books and features both notching and milling to facilitate adhesive penetration for strong, lasting binds. Maximum binding thickness is 1.2”. Minimum book size 5.8” x 4.1”. Maximum book size is 11.8” (spine) x 15.7”.

Stitched
For magazines, booklets and newsletters our Sprint 5000 jogs, folds, and staples in one operation. It is capable of corner, side, and saddle stapling. Paper size: 5.5” x 8” to 11.5” x 17.5”. Two stapling heads. Maximum 22 sheets (88 pages 20# bond/50# book).
Coil
For journals and cookbooks our Rhinotuff uses Plastikoil 4:1 pitch in a variety of colours.
Folding
Our AB Dick 87 air feed rises to the challenge and will handle anything our printers can throw at it.
Shrink Wrapping
For course packs and mixed media packs our Seal & Shrink with tunnel keeps it all together.
