After retiring as a building manager, maintenance technician and electrician, became a student of theology and archaeology. He came to serious writing of poetry rather late in life. He is, by profession, an Electrician but he has since his retirement in 1988 branched into various interests, Poetry being one of them. David says, “I have to give credit to the Alexandra Writers Centre, of Calgary, for their expertise. It was with their encouragement that I was able to muster the courage to compose and publish this book. I can only hope that you enjoy these poems as much as I have enjoyed wrestling with, and defying the rules of poetry.”
