We recently collaborated with Concordia University College to create a striking poster for their upcoming production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. The job involved scanning their student’s original artwork for the poster’s background, then overlaying text and Concordia’s logo to create a poster and matching handbills.
Apparently, the poster and handbills are a hit, with Concordia running out within days and ordering a second run. This doesn’t usually happen, we’re told. It is always nice to get a happy email from a client, letting you know that they not only love the design and service provided, but that the product was successful. Having a piece look great is just one piece of the puzzle. When the piece performs, it really shines. These posters and handbills are apparently performing in the same league as the play they advertise.
Here is what Caroline, the director of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, had to say,
“Thank you for the great job on the posters and flyers. The students are thrilled with the poster and are putting up many more than usual. Is it possible to request another 50 posters and another 100 handbills.”
You got a really useful blog. I have been here reading for about an hour. I am a newbie and your success is very much an inspiration for me.
