It’s easy to tell that it’s Christmas at the PageMaster office these days. If the nativity and garland on the front counter didn’t give it away, you’d soon hear the eclectic stream of Christmas music flowing from our Creative room. And if perhaps you didn’t hear that, you’d discover baking laid out, far too tempting, sent in by PageMaster clients and staff. We need the extra energy, because we little elves have been hard at work printing Christmas gifts for all the good little art and book lovers out there. Canvas and giclèe prints make a great gift and it’s been our pleasure to prepare them for artists like Catherine Marchand, Jared Robinson, Stephanie Esak and Jenny Keith. We’ve also printed books as gifts, including Fun Filled Farm by Cheryl Connolly and Bobo Gets a Big Surprise by RJ Faltin. And then there are the Christmas cards.
Looking Back and Looking Forward
It’s been a big year here at PageMaster, with new staff members, a new website and the recent launch of PageMaster Sites, our website offering for authors and artists. Our new site at pagemaster.ca has been growing almost every day with our blog of tips, articles and resources geared to help people share their work with their world. We look forward to 2012, when we will continue rolling out PageMaster Sites and launch our online book and art print store. There are big things ahead.
It’s been rewarding and it’s been fun but we’re looking forward, as I’m sure you are, to spending time with our friends and families sharing gifts and meals and stories.
Looking at the Light
As the world slows down over these next few days, our hope is that the same light that once shone over a lowly stable, announcing the birth of a very special baby boy, would shine over your home and into your life. It is a light with the power to fill our vision, blocking out the cares of our hectic lives and reminding us what is truly important. It is a mysterious and powerful light that can be startling and revealing while giving warmth and comfort and clarity to our path. May that light shine on you and yours these coming days.
Wishing you a wonder-full Christmas, The PageMaster Team
(Dale, Lori, Terry, Ashley, Dave, Doug, Kamille, Robert and Trevor)
