Pondering the season – anticipating 2018

There is so much more than what we see, and so much more than what we experience.

With the sun up less than seven and a half hours in Edmonton, I invite you to take time to ponder the night sky. Many carols remind us of hope in the dark and this season is filled with stories of light. Ponder the words. Sing them like they were new.

As we gaze skyward we see so little of what is actually there. Even out in the country we see only a fraction of the 100,000,000 estimated stars in our own galaxy, the Milky Way. And then there are another estimated 200 billion galaxies, each with billions of stars. The expanse is way beyond our comprehension.

Take a moment to reflect and expand your view. Ponder the stories of the season. Recover the Awe.

Be refreshed and renewed this season.

Best
