Edmonton studio rentals and training space available
Studio rentals for shared, private, workshop and teaching use are available in the centrally located, historic Grinnell Warehouse near the former municipal airport. In total of over 9,000 square feet of creative space, adjacent to PageMaster Publishing is available ?on a morning/afternoon/evening basis; or daily, monthly or annual lease. All rentals include utilities and WIFI.
Illustrators, designers, photographers, visual artists, videographers, editors, artisans and other creatives are welcome. See the descriptions below for information and options.
Upper meeting room
The upper meeting room is suitable for small events, gallery showings and workshops. Rates are $230/day or $100 for morning, afternoon or evening (stage area is additional).

Studio/stage, workshop space
The drop ceiling has been pulled out to allow for studio lights but this area is also suitable for workshops. An electric piano is available and the space has been used for choral rehearsals. Rates for this 17x35 space are $120/day or $50 for morning, afternoon or evening. The south teaching space has the same rates and is a great workshop space for small groups.

Multi-use workshop/studio
The Artstream multi-use main-floor bay is at street level with huge doors and a 35 foot ceiling. It has an industrial look great for workshops and videos, and easy access for gear. Rates for this 35x40 space are $300/day or $140 for morning, afternoon or evening. A portion of the bay is an option depending on your needs and scheduling.

Private Edmonton studio rentals for creatives
There seems to always be at least one private studio available (starting at $310 plus GST). Co-working and temporary work/studio/teaching space are also available. (see floor plan).
City of Edmonton Zoning:
Creation and Production Establishments means development used for the custom creation or small-scale fabrication of goods produced in limited quantity, or for the creation, training and rehearsal of performance arts. Accessory Uses may include the retail sale of goods produced on Site. Typical uses include literary, visual, craft, design, and interdisciplinary and performance arts studios.
